Job Summary

The position covers the support of the all product units in the head office and the network banks, helping them implementing the product strategies, driving the product P&Ls and support product management and development, while delivering insights in our key customer segments.
Furthermore, the Business Analyst is responsible for managing and improving a Management Information System (MIS) and for identifying trends that influence volumes and profitability and communicate these clearly to the business line owners. He/she is closely involved in the strategic processes by developing, maintaining and running financial models assessing different initiatives.
Another responsibility is to implement the Sberbank Europe group product priorities for deposits and third party products and driving corresponding P&Ls across the businesses.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

Support the development of product strategies and implement to enable our key network banks to reach their financial targets in terms of revenue and profitability
Review the profitability across network banks and work with local teams to improve the revenue / cost drivers of the profit and loss of our portfolios.
Support the development of key insights into our key customer segments through attitudinal or behavioral research and data analysis.
Work with local teams on the development of new products while monitoring and driving the performance of existing products to ensure key penetration and performance metrics are achieved
Identify key trends, understand drivers behind these trends and communicate these findings to the business line owners in support of their decision making process
Provide financial models to the network to support the budgeting process, review their current business and assess the impact of significant changes in the business environment
Ensure ongoing marketing plans and campaigns make good commercial sense and deliver agreed budgeted plans.
Responsible for the commercial management of the group deposit business including P&L performance and budget execution monitoring, and taking necessary actions to improve it where necessary
Develop product priorities and implement to enable our local banks to reach their financial targets in terms of revenue and profitability.
Contribute towards target setting for the business across the network, and the identification of initiatives to achieve those targets.
Review the profitability across our banks and work with local teams to improve the revenue / cost drivers of the profit and loss of our portfolios.
Lead the product element of the review sessions, input into the setting of the MBOs of local product heads, and review the proposed tactical and strategic initiatives of local banks.

Your Profile

University degree in Economics, Banking
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a lending product area of a universal bank
Fluent English; German, any CEE language or Russian would be a nice to have
Ability to manage different topics within the countries
Manage budget, have a profit & loss responsibility

Annual Gross salary starting from EUR 50.000,- based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience. The position can be filled as soon as possible.
